Illegal liquor seized, 2 held

Forty-five pouches and 30 bottles of liquor, to be sold illegally, were seized in Jammu region's Akhnoor belt and two persons were arrested in this connection, police said today.
Forty-five pouches of illegal liquor were seized from Jeet Raj near main Chowk Akhnoor, 30-km from here, yesterday, they said.
Raj had been arrested and a case under the Excise Act registered against him.
In a similar incident, Ved Ram, carrying 30 bottles of liquor illegally, was arrested at Malian Jarh, police said.
