IM Nisha Mohota catches Vijayalakshmi, share joint lead

International Master Nisha Mohota of PSPB share the joint lead with overnight leader IM Subbaraman Vijayalakshmi (2314) of Air India at the end of 10th round of 41st National Women Challengers Chess Championship 2014 at Boxing Hall Pedem Sports Complex in Mapusa today.
The duo share the top spoint with a score of 8.5 points each.
IM Nisha defeated Lasya G started with Kings Indian defence in a closed variation game that lasted 32 moves, while Vijayalakshmi split points in just 30 moves with Nimmy George
Nimmy is now in second in the leaderboard with 7.5 points along with WGM Swati Ghate of LIC, Lakshmi Praneetha (2005) of Andhra Pradesh, Neha Singh of Bihar and Hinduja Reddy of AP.
There are nine players at the third position with a score of seven points each.
