Demanding implementation of Section 8 of the Andhra Pradesh Re-organisation Act, Ravella lashed out at Telengana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and opposition leader Jagan Mohan Reddy of the YSR Congress.
He alleged that Jagan helped Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao cause trouble and obstruct development of the state.
AP minister Siddha Raghava Rao said that Andhra people living in Hyderabad fear for their security and face a "tough time", adding that he has demanded that the Governor has to respond as per Section 8 and solve the problems of the people.
After the public meeting, all leaders as well as students organised a rally to the collector's office and submitted a representation to collector Sujatha Sarma, demanding implementation of Section 8 of the Andhra Pradesh Re-organisation Act.
