Implement Section 8 of AP Re-organisation Act: AP minister

Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare Minister Ravella Kishore Babu said at a public meeting organised by the AP Journalists' Forum (APJF) here today morning that Section 8 is the "heart" of the Andhra Pradesh Re-organisation Act.
Demanding implementation of Section 8 of the Andhra Pradesh Re-organisation Act, Ravella lashed out at Telengana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and opposition leader Jagan Mohan Reddy of the YSR Congress.
He alleged that Jagan helped Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao cause trouble and obstruct development of the state.
AP minister Siddha Raghava Rao said that Andhra people living in Hyderabad fear for their security and face a "tough time", adding that he has demanded that the Governor has to respond as per Section 8 and solve the problems of the people.
The public meeting was attended by AP ministers Ravella and Sidda Raghava Rao, besides Ongole MLA D Janardhan, Prakasam district zilla parishad chairman N Balaji, MLC M Srinivasulu Reddy, AP NGOs President Ashok babu, AP Secretariat Employees' Association President Murali Krishna, TDP leader Jupudi Prabhakar, APJF state president Krishnajaneyulu as well as leaders of students unions.
After the public meeting, all leaders as well as students organised a rally to the collector's office and submitted a representation to collector Sujatha Sarma, demanding implementation of Section 8 of the Andhra Pradesh Re-organisation Act.
