Fresh from their record 7-0 win against Mumbai, Goans started on a high and dominated the proceedings but ATK steadily took charge of the game to produce a 4-0 rout to jump to the top of the table and brighten their semifinal hopes.
"It's the first match where we did not concede any goal... Every time it would be 4-1, 3-2 or 2-1... So it's very important for me mentally," Habas told a news conference after their fabulous win at the Vivekananda Yuva Bharati Krirangan.
The ISL winning coach however said they've to keep this win aside and concentrate on their next match against FC Pune City in five days' time.
Dejected at their 0-4 rout, just five days after they created an ISL record hammering Mumbai City FC 7-0, FC Goa coach Zico said the day did not belong to them.
"In 90 minutes of football, we just played 15 minutes, the rest were them. In football there's always an element of surprise. But I am here not to make any excuse that we did not practice at the venue so we did not get the result.
This was for the second time, FCG were lost by a 0-4 goal margin as in Chennai they had suffered a similar result on October 11.
Putting full faith behind his team, the Brazilian legend said they would bounce back from the disastrous defeat.
"It's happened only the second time. We lost to Chennai but we overcame. If we win the next game, this game will have little significance. If we rectify our mistakes, this game will matter little to us.
