Incessant rain affected normal life in the metropolis and adjoining districts today, as the Met department forecast continuous downpour till tomorrow morning.
Continuous rain and waterlogging at different places in the city caused traffic snarls during morning rush hours.
The Met department has forecast "continuous rainfall over the districts of Gangetic West Bengal with one or two spells of heavy shower in coastal districts, including Kolkata for next 24 hours."
