Victor Abilash Christopher (men's 105kg), Pardeep (men's 94kg), Vikas Thakur (men's 85kg) and Kavita Devi (women's 75kg) won a gold each as the home lifters ran away with all the honours.
In the first event of the day, Kavita Devi had a total lift of 210kg (92kg+122 kg) to bag the gold to her kitty. Wickeramasinghe Mudiyan of Sri Lanka won the silver with a total lift of 160kg (70+90), while Firoga Parvin of Bangladesh won the bronze with a total effort of 148kg (70+78).
In men's 94kg event, trailing by 5kg in snatch behind his Pakistani rival, Pardeep gave a hugely improved effort in the clean and jerk to win the gold with a total lift of 331kg (145kg+186kg).
Usmaan Amjad Rathore of Pakistan won the silver with a total lift of 322kg (150+172). Thusitha Karunarathna Chandrthilake of Sri Lanka won the bronze medal with 293kg (125+168).
India ended the day with the gold from Christopher, who lifted 317kg to win gold medal, easily beating Sri Lankan Shanaka Madusanka Peters by 17kg.
