'Indo-Canadian community should contribute in India's

The Indian-Canadian community should contribute in India's progress specially in the field of education and skill development to improve the future of the young population of the country, Super 30 founder Anand Kumar said.
Speaking at an event organised by the Indian embassy in Vancouver, Kumar said there are many opportunities in India which he called the youngest country in the world with more than half the population below 35 years of age.
He urged the Indian community living in Canada to contribute in the progress of India particularly in the field of education and skill development to shape up future of the young population.

"With such a large number of successful Indians in different fields here, India can bank on it and hope to use this vast expertise for its progress," he said.
"There are abundant opportunities in the field of education, healthcare and skill development and many more. I am confident that with the kind of passion you people have shown, the pull of your motherland will make you contribute significantly in the days to come," he added.
He cited his own example and said when a small initiative like 'Super 30' could get such appreciation, one could well imagine the impact of all Indians getting together in the important cause.

Anand runs a coaching programme popularly known as 'Super 30'. Started in 2002 in Patna, it offers free coaching classes to economically backward students for IIT-JEE.
