Infosys stock up 1% ahead of Q3 results

Shares of IT services major Infosys ended nearly 1 per cent higher today ahead of its third quarter results to be announced tomorrow.
Infosys' scrip ended 0.50 per cent up at Rs 1,974.55 on the BSE. During the day, it rose by 1.63 per cent to Rs 1,996.85.
At the NSE, shares of Infosys went up by 0.80 per cent to end the trade at Rs 1,979.25.
On the volume front, 7.88 lakh shares of the company changed hands at the BSE, while over 33 lakh shares were traded at the NSE during the day.
The earnings season will be kicked off by Infosys which will announce its quarterly numbers tomorrow.
