The staff of of Kumaraguru College of Technology heard the sound of the bird from the bush and on search found the peacock, lying with injuries on neck and an eye.
The peacock was given first aid and handed over to Save Our Snake Association (SOSA), an NGO, which after some treatment handed it over to forest department.
