Light rains at isolated places in Raj

Light to moderate showers occurred at isolated places in Rajasthan while dry weather conditions prevailed in most areas.
Churu continued to remain hottest recording a maximum of 46.8 degrees Celsius followed by Bikaner where the day temperature was 46.2 degrees Celsius, according to MeT department here.
Jaisalmer, Sriganganagar, Jaipur and Barmer were hot at 45.7, 42.7, 42.2 and 42 degrees Celsius respectively, they said.
Light to moderate rainfall occurred at a few places in Udaipur division at isolated pockets in Ajmer, Kota, Jodhpur divisions while the weather remained dry in rest of the areas in the state during the last 24 hours.

Thunderstorm accompanied by light rain may occur during the next 24 hours in the state, MeT department added.
