Addressing a news conference here on the sidelines of the ongoing budget session of Haryana Assembly, senior INLD leader Abhay Singh Chautala referred to a petition filed by a woman in Dehradun in December last year and said that Congress should sack Hooda from his post and expel him from the party.
Chautala claimed that the woman had levelled some serious allegations against Hooda.
Batra, the MLA from Rohtak, said the allegations were merely aimed at character assassination and to malign and tarnish the clean image of the two-time Chief Minister.
"INLD raises issues which have no basis. They are trying to mislead the people of Haryana; we strongly condemn this," Kadian said.
