Intense heat conditions continued in parts of Rajasthan where Sriganganagar was recorded as the hottest place with a maximum of 47 degrees Celsius followed by Bikaner which recorded 46.6 degrees Celsius.

Churu, Jaislamer, Kota and Barmer recorded 46.4, 45.7, 45.4 and 44.4 degrees Celsius where the day temperature was 44.3 degrees Celsius in Jaipur and 42.7 degreess Celsius in Dabok, according to the Meteorological (MeT) department here.

Severe heat wave to heat wave conditions prevailed in the state and the weather conditions would remain the same during next 24 hours.
