: A inter-university yoga championship women would be held from January 6-10 in Nuzvid in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh.
The All-India Inter-University Yoga (Men and Women) tournament 2019-20 would be conducted on the Nuzvid IIIT campus, Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Nuzvid, K C Reddy told mediapersons on Monday.
The event would be inaugurated by Andhra Pradesh Governor Vishwabhushan, Reddy said.
Nearly, 1,500 participants from 125 universities from across 23 states would be taking part in the championship, he said.
This is the first time the all-India inter- university yoga tournament was being conducted in the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, he added.
