"It has been reported that some individuals have been interfering with govt work and threatening the officers. It mustn't be tolerated," an official release quoting Jharkhand Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba said here.
Stating that misbehavior with government officers and employees affect their morale adversely and decreases their efficiency and capability of taking strong decisions, Gauba directed deputy commissioners, senior superintendents of police and superintendents of police to take such issues seriously.
They were told to take immediate legal actions against "mischievous elements" so that such activities did not occur in future.
He also asked to review the necessity and relevance of their arms and ammunitions and cancel their license, if required, and that the government took cognizance seriously of such matters and directions should be firmly implemented.
