Intex Technologies forays into refrigerators segment

Consumer electronics player Intex Technologies today said it has forayed in the refrigeration space and has launched three direct cool refrigerators.
The refrigerators will be available at a price range of Rs 10,900 to Rs 14,300 and the company plans to introduce frost free models next year, it said in a statement.
"After the phenomenal response our products have got, we have enhanced our portfolio with refrigerators. With the inclusion of these product categories, we are sure it will further establish a consumer connect and help in consolidating our position," Intex Technologies Director and Business Head-Consumer Durable and IT Nidhi Markanday said.

The market for refrigerators in the country is estimated to be 13 million units.
