SSP Ajay Mishra said he had received a written complaint on May 8 from the IPS officer posted in the city against another IPS officer Sanjiv Tyagi, posted as SP (east), accusing him of misbehaving with her on the night of May 4.
In her complaint, she has alleged that the officer had called her to his house in cantonment area on the pretext of some official work and then allegedly misbehaved with her there, Mishra said.
After taking cognisance of the report, the DGP Lucknow office yesterday asked the officer to report to it.
Meanwhile, Tyagi has gone on leave from May 15 till May 25. The accused officer could not be reached for comment.
