"People are the last word in a democracy," he said responding to a question by reporters here on the performance of the five-year rule of Congress-led UDF government, which has been under attack from CPI(M)-led LDF Opposition over solar and bar bribery scams.
Chandy also rejected media reports that there were differences in the KC-M, a constituent of UDF. "There is no differences in the Front and with any partners," he said.
On cabinet decisions taken today, Chandy said rehabilitation package for the people whose livelihood would be effected due to the setting up of Vizhinjam International Deepwater Multipurpose Seaport, has been approved.
An amount of Rs 23.80 crore has been sanctioned for the first phase of the schemes, he said.
Cabinet approved the draft MoU to be signed between the two government agencies, Rajiv Gandhi Academy for Aviation Technology and Kerala Net-work for Organ sharing, for starting Air Ambulance service in the state as part of promoting organ transplant.
