The troops of the paramilitary, who were part of the strategic manoeuvre in April this year, were awarded by ITBP acting chief Mahboob Alam in the run up to the 52nd Raising Day celebrations of the force here.
The personnel were decorated for their "valiant" act and "outstanding professional recitation and undaunted dedication to keep the borders of our country safe and secure", the force said in a statement here.
The standoff had taken place from April 25 to May 5 along the Sino-Indian frontier in Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir.
During the event, Alam said "keeping in view the highest standards of training, specialisation in operating in rugged terrain and extremely seasoned jungle warfare experts of ITBP, the Ministry of Home Affairs has assigned the task of training all central paramilitary forces in conducting anti-Naxal operation tactics."
