Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary BR Sharma today asked the administrative secretaries to submit a status report to the General Administration Department (GAD) within a week regarding the achievements of various departments as regards implementing the Agenda of Alliance worked out by the ruling PDP-BJP combine in the state.
"Analyse the agenda points pertaining to your respective departments and see what has already been implemented and how do you contemplate to implement the rest," he told them at a meeting here.
Sharma also instructed them to place the Action Taken Report (ATR) before the ministers concerned before sending them to the GAD.
At its meeting on August 4, the sub-committee formed for the effective implementation of the Agenda of Alliance had asked Sharma to prepare an ATR.
As a follow-up, Sharma had convened today's meeting.
The Chief Secretary said while many departments have taken steps towards realising the points set out in the Agenda of Alliance, the action needs to be consolidated further.
He also asked the administrative secretaries to expedite the process of identification of posts against SRO-43 cases and for appointment of outstanding sportspersons so that the process of filling up these posts could be completed at the earliest, an official spokesman said.
