Apex Body of state government employees- Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) leader Abdul Qayoom, who along with others staged the protest at Press Club here, alleged that the government has not honoured the agreement regarding the arrears, enhancement of age-limit from 58 to 60, removal of pay anomalies and regularisation of daily-wage and contractual employees.
He threated to take out a "mashal rally" to the CM's residence on January 15.
"We are giving five days deadline to the government to fulfill our demands in this regard," he said.
He claimed that the Omar Abdullah-led government had agreed to our demands and entered into agreement with us.
"But they have not done anything to give shape to the demands of agreement," Qayoom said.
"We will not get cowed down by the government's arm twisting acts and will intensify our agitation to meet our goals," he stressed.
