Jain Irrigation Q4 Net up 39 pc at Rs 75.34 crore

Jain Irrigation Systems today posted an over 39 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 75.34 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2014 on higher sales.
It had clocked a net profit of Rs 54.05 crore in the same period last year.
Total income during January-March quarter of year 2013-14 rose to Rs 1,833.28 crore as compared to Rs 1,682.07 crore in the same period in 2012-13.
However for fiscal ended March 31, 2014, the company reported a consolidtaed net loss of Rs 39.82 crore.
In the year 2013-13, it had reported a net profit of Rs 3.08 crore.

Total income of the company during year 2013-14 rose to Rs 5,834.38 crore as compare to Rs 5,026.69 crore in the year 2012-13.
The Jalgaon-based company manufactures drip and sprinkler irrigation systems, besides agro-processed products like dehydrated vegetables and fruits.
