An FIR was registered against the protesting workers on a complaint by the JMRC.
"An FIR was filed with Metro Police Station against 25 workers of the ticket vending contractor at Chandpole metro station for their unnotified protest causing inconvenience to passengers," JMRC Chief Managing Director N C Goyal said.
The workers were demanding salary from the contractor, who has already been paid money by the JMRC for disbursement among workers, Goyal said.
The contractor has been asked to appear before the JMRC, he said, adding that the Metro Police would probe the matter as per the metro rules.
Metro services were not affected by the protest. Ticket vending operation was carried out smoothly at Chandpole metro station, the JMRC CMD said.
