In a respite for five IAS officers, the city magistrate court here today dismissed an application alleging corruption by the public servants in the Jalmahal lease deed case.
The complainant, Bhagwat Gaur, had filed the application seeking action against the IAS officers -- Arvind Mayaram, C K Mathew, Govind Mohan, Sudhanshu Pant and Bhaskar Sawant -- for
Allegedly being involved in the allotment of a part of the heritage land to a private builder in a corrupt manner.
Dismissing the application, judge Suresh Prakash Bhatt said it appeared that there were several accused involved in the matter and further action against any person could be taken only after recording statement and evidence of the complainant.
