Jamie Lynn Spears wields knife at to protect friend

Pop star Britney Spears' sister Jamie Lynn Spears waved a knife at a crowd in a Louisiana sandwich shop to break up a fight.
Jamie was out celebrating a friend's birthday over the weekend and even posted a happy photo of the two on Instagram hours before the brawl, reported New York Daily News.
"Happy Birthday @brandiblair22!!!" she captioned the happy shot, which was posted Saturday.
Their night included a stop at the Pita Pit in Hammond, according to sources close to Jamie.
At some point during their visit an altercation began involving the singer's friend, who at one point was hit with a bottle, cops said.

Jamie sprang to action, pulling her friend out of dangers way behind the sandwich counter before reportedly grabbing a long serrated bread knife and waving it around in order to stop the fight.
Police were called and supposedly arrived shortly after the brawl died down, but Jamie's friend did not want to press charges on her attacker and no one was arrested.
