The prime object of organising this fair is to inform the public about benefits of AYUSH medicine system and to create awareness among them that most of the complex diseases can be cured with these alternative medicine systems, Union Joint Secretary, AYUSH Department, Anil Ganeriwala told reporters here today.
He said Ayurvedic, Homoeopathic, Unani, Siddha, Tibetan, Acupressure, Acupuncture, Reiki and Naturopathy medicine systems are claimed to be more effective medicine system with fewer hazards.
A free-health camp where renowned traditional medical practitioners will give free consultation to the patients will be a highlight of the event, which will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Omar Abudallah and Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad.
