The 48-year-old "Transporter" star said he is really happy with his would-be wife, reported E! online.
"We're very happy. She's a great girl," Statham said.
The actor, who will be soon tying the knot with the 28-year-old model-actress, is not in a mood to dish out any details about the wedding.
"You'll be the last to see them," he joked on the Critics' Choice Awards red carpet.
Statham and Whitley first began dating in 2010 and their relationship has been going strong ever since.
