Opposing the demand for Jat reservation, the Bhartiya Kisan Sanghathan (BKS) has threatened to boycott Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Processing Sanjeev Balyan for supporting the issue.
BKS President Thakur Puran Singh said people elected Balyan (from Muzaffarnagar) to uplift all communities but he has been pleading for the cause of Jat reservation.
Singh, who was addressing a kisan panchayat near Rohni Harjipur village near here last evening, threatened to boycott the minister, if continues to support the issue.
Balayan should resign as Member of Parliament and then should fight for Jat reservation, he said.
