"Jerry Maguire" star Jay Mohr's divorce and custody battle has just become really messy after he filed documents calling his estranged wife "an unfit mother".
Mohr refiled divorce papers to end his 10-year marriage to actress Nikki Cox just before Christmas, five months after he withdrew his initial petition in July, and now he's attacking his former partner's parenting skills, reported TMZ.
Mohr initially requested joint legal and physical custody of the couple's five-year-old son, but now he insists his estranged wife's drug problem has prompted him to file for sole physical custody.
Jay claims Cox puts his son at risk, accusing her of giving him a double dose of flu medicine, letting him watch endless cartoons, and allowing him to eat candy late at night.
According to the documents, Jay also alleges Nikki often doesn't leave her room for days at a time, and he claims she has threatened to take her life on at least two occasions.
