Additional wide-bodied aircraft services would be introduced in four key international routes from October 30. The routes are from Mumbai and Delhi to Dammam; from Mumbai to Bangkok; and from Mumbai to Doha.
In a release, the airline said it is set to introduce wide-bodied jetliners in a move to significantly enhance capacity at a time of rising demand.
"The deployment of the state-of-the-art Airbus' A330s and flagship Boeing 777-300 ERs, with their wide spacious cabins, will allow Jet Airways to offer guests flying to/from the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Europe a more relaxing, comfortable and luxurious flying experience," it said.
Currently, the carrier operates a fleet of 117 aircraft that includes Boeing 777-300 ERs, Airbus A330-200/300 and Next Generation Boeing 737s.
