JIPMER to embark on online registration by patients

: The centrally administered JIPMER has come out with what it termed was an innovative system of online registration of patients seeking health care services at the hospital.
Director of JIPMER Dr S C Parija said in a release here today that not less than 8,000 patients turn up every day at the outpatient wing and they were also constrained to stand in
Queue for hours together to get the services.
JIPMER has now come out with a new system of online registration for services at the hospital, including at the specialty wings. Patients from anywhere can make use of this facility, which would go on stream tomorrow, synchronizing with the celebration of Gandhi Jayanthi.

Registration can be made either through SMS, laptops, internet connection from anywhere.Web portal www.Jipmer.Edu.In should be clicked from where the patients would be guided for online registration, he said.
