This was stated today by state Transport Minister Qamar Ali Akhoon during a meeting of the transport advisory committee here.
Akhoon said the plan includes construction of new roads and flyovers, besides upgrading of existing roads and expansion of connectivity.
The recommendations made by the committee, which include installation of traffic lights in Srinagar and Jammu, are being implemented, he added.
