The accused, who was unemployed for past few months, hit him with an iron object in front of his wife and buried the body on the outskirts of the village, police said.
The mother of the minor lodged a complaint against her husband today, police said.
"We have received a complaint and would exhume to tomorrow for the post-mortem," said the SHO (Rohet) Devendra Singh Kavia, adding that his wife Shobha is an eye-witness to the murder.
Police said that Manaklal had been sitting ideal at home with no work for the past few months and his wife was the only bread winner in the family as she worked at a private school as a peon.
Police has not yet arrested Manaklal. "We would first verify the complaint after exhuming the body of the boy and get the post-mortem done," said Kavia.
