Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung today greeted people on the eve of Dussehra wishing peace, prosperity and happiness in the lives of all on the festival.
"May the festival usher in peace, happiness and prosperity for all. May it strengthen our bonds ever more. I wish everyone a happy Dussehra," Jung said in his message.
The festival of Dussehra depicts the victory of good over evil. It is the celebration of Shakti and Bhakti and symbolises our inner struggle to rise to higher levels of consciousness.
Extending his "heartiest" greetings to the people in Delhi on the occasion of Dussehra, Jung said the festival guides us in the path of righteousness.
