Traders said increased stockists buying supported by upsurge in demand against limited arrivals from producing regions mainly led to rise in kabli gram small variety and urad prices.
In the national capital, kabli gram small variety rose by Rs 200 to Rs 4,200-7,000 per quintal.
Urad moved up to Rs 4,200-4,800 from previous level of Rs 4,000-4,750 per quintal. Its dal chilka local, best and dhoya local were up by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,550-5,750, Rs 5,800-6,400 and Rs 6,050-6,450 per quintal, respectively.
