Kalyana Rama is new CMD of CONCOR

V Kalyana Rama has taken over as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Container Corporation of India Ltd (CONCOR), a navratna PSU under Railways Ministry.
Prior to this, he was serving as Director (Projects & Services), CONCOR since June 2015.
Having worked in BHEL, BHPV before joining Indian Railways, Rama has held various challenging assignments in his career with Indian Railways and CONCOR, said a statement issued by CONCOR.
CONCOR is a network of 64 terminals, offering scheduled and on demand rapid rail and road services between the hinterland and ports, and between terminal across the country.
"Rama has wide experience of Engineering, System design, Railway and multi modal operations and Project planning and commissioning," the statement said.

Rama, a mechanical engineer, was also the CEO of Infinite Logistic Solutions, a JV of Reliance Logistics Private Ltd and CONCOR.
