The vital parameters of Kamla, who is in her early eighties, are normal and she has started taking liquids orally and is more alert.
"Kamla Advani continues to maintain all her vital parameters within normal range. She has had no fever since admission.
"Urine output, respiration and oxygenation are normal without any external support. All biochemical parameters are normal. She has been started on liquids orally and is more alert," said Professor Neerja Bhatla, Chairperson, Media and Protocol Division at AIIMS.
According to sources, the wife of the former deputy prime minister complained of breathing problems early in the morning following which she was rushed to AIIMS.
