BJP leader Vijay Goel christened the facility at a an event held here.
The 10-storeyed facility -- seven floors underground for parking and three floors above serving as a commercial complex -- was inaugurated last year and is the "first fully-automated" car-parking under the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, NDMC Public Relations Officer Yogendra Singh Mann told PTI.
"The parking has a capacity of 828 cars and has the maximum retrieval time of 3 minutes. This idea of naming was mooted by the local councillor as the area is a traders' zone who consider Maharaja Agrasen as their patron," Mann said.
Maharaja Agrasen was a legendary king of Agroha, a city of traders, from whom the Agrawal and Agrahari community claim their descent.
