Alleging that incidents of loot, murder, kidnapping were on the rise in Etah, Katheria, Minister of State in Human Resource Development ministry, charged local police with incompetency in tackling the crime.
Katheria, the BJP MP from Agra, also alleged that in several cases police were not lodging FIRs.
Slamming the Samajwadi Party government in UP, the minister said "people want change and that would come in 2017" even as he assured that the Centre was working to fulfill the promises made by the NDA government.
