Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has given approval to set up mobile units which will provide on-the-spot testing and medical facilities to livestock in each district, a spokesperson of Animal Husbandry Department said here today.
Each mobile unit will travel across the district to conduct test of livestock so that the cattle-rearers need not visit veterinary hospital for any type disease of the animals, he said.
Khattar also approved creation of 62 new posts for smooth functioning of these units, out of which 21 posts each would be of veterinary surgeon, animal attendant and driver, the spokesperson said.
