KWA Asst Engineer & three members of family killed in mishap

: An Assistant Engineer with Kerala Water Authority, his wife and two minor children were killed as their car fell into a nearby granite quarry after ramming a barricade, police said today.
They said the accident occurred at Sastham Mukal on the Thiruvankulam-Kolencherry route last night.
The victims were travelling from Kochi to Thodupuzha when the mishap occurred.
The victims have been identified as Biju,his wife Sheeba and their children --Surya (4) and daughter Meenakshi (7).
The bodies have been handed over to their next of kin, they said.
