According to the complaint lodged by the girl's father, a car driver, his daughter was kidnapped while she was playing near her house this morning, sub-inspector of Kukatpally police station, P Anil Kumar said.
"There was a CCTV camera installed near the crime spot. After verifying the footage we noticed a person carrying a little girl. We identified the person as M Naga Raju, a stone cutting labourer. We went to his house and found the baby," Anil Kumar told PTI.
The officer said the accused was in an inebriated condition when he was caught and would be questioned later.
