Bose in a press statement accused the TMC cadres of attacking a rally that was organised by various Left parties today in Chopra area of Nadia district.
"Our BPMO rally was attacked by the TMC goons. Such attacks are unacceptable in a democracy. Several of our workers were injured in the clash," Bose said in a statement.
The TMC leaders denied the allegations.
"The allegations made by the Left parties are completely baseless and fabricated," TMC secretary general Partha Chatterjee said.
The programme that started on October 22 would continue till November 3.
The BPMO rallies would cover 77,000 booths in the state, a Left party source said.
