Letter that came out is fabricated: Solar scam accused

Solar scam accused Saritha S Nair today alleged that a letter, purportedly written by her accusing some political leaders of exploiting her, was a "fabricated" one by her detractors.
Strongly disowning the contents of the letter, aired by some regional television channels yesterday, she told reporters here that the original letter was with her and she is not interested to reveal it "as it may lead to some political upheavals in the state."
She made it clear that the original letter, said to be written by her while in prison, did not have the name of a Member of Parliament as claimed by the media.

She also said she was ready to hand over the original letter to the forensic department to prove that the letter that came out through media was fake.
However, she admitted that the original letter contained names of some prominent persons including political leaders.
She also refuted allegations that she was withholding the letter with an intention to "blackmail" somebody.
After spending some eight months in prison in connection with the solar panel scam case, Saritha Nair was released from jail on bail in February last year. Some 33 cases of cheating were registered against her.
The scam that broke out two years ago pertains to cheating people of huge sums of money, allegedly by Nair and her accomplice Biju Radhakrishnan by offering people solar panel solutions.
