Strongly disowning the contents of the letter, aired by some regional television channels yesterday, she told reporters here that the original letter was with her and she is not interested to reveal it "as it may lead to some political upheavals in the state."
She made it clear that the original letter, said to be written by her while in prison, did not have the name of a Member of Parliament as claimed by the media.
However, she admitted that the original letter contained names of some prominent persons including political leaders.
She also refuted allegations that she was withholding the letter with an intention to "blackmail" somebody.
After spending some eight months in prison in connection with the solar panel scam case, Saritha Nair was released from jail on bail in February last year. Some 33 cases of cheating were registered against her.
The scam that broke out two years ago pertains to cheating people of huge sums of money, allegedly by Nair and her accomplice Biju Radhakrishnan by offering people solar panel solutions.
