The 23-year-old actor was said to be perturbed with the former teen star's raunchy performance at MTV Music Video Awards. The couple are now rarely seen together which has sparked rumours that the duo are headed for a split, reported Hollywood Life.
"They barely see each other. I wouldn't be surprised if they split for good soon. They are not getting married. It's not in the cards right now at all," a source said.
The couple began dating during the filming of "The Last Song" in June 2009. However, they parted ways a number times but then reconciled. Finally in 2012 they announced their engagement.
