However, heavy rainfall has been forecast in over half a dozen districts in the next 24 hours.
After days of cloudy weather, the sun today came out brightly in most parts of the State, where rain fury and floods have claimed 22 lives till now.
Markets buzzed with activities and schools remained open after days of rains and subsequent floods, which had paralysed normal life.
A handful of districts received only a small amount of rainfall since yesterday. South MP witnessed no rain activity. But some places in North MP might receive rainfall, India Meteorological Department's Bhopal Centre Director Anupam Kashyapi told PTI this evening.
Heavy rainfall might occur at isolated places in Sheopur, Shivpuri, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Panna, Satna and Rewa districts during the next 24 hours, Kashyapi said.
A rain alert has been issued for Hoshangabad district, he added.
