Chandigarh received light showers in the afternoon while Ambala, Panchkula, Karnal, Rewari, Sonipat were among other places in Haryana to be lashed by rains.
A few parts of Punjab, too, received showers today.
According to the MeT Department, the maximum temperatures today hovered close to or below normal limits at many places in both the states.
