Light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur at a few places in Rajasthan over the next three days, a meteorological department official said on Wednesday.

Due to an active western disturbance in the region, light rainfall accompanied by thunder, lightning and hailstorm activity is likely to occur in Jaipur and Bharatpur divisions.

The department has predicted light rainfall to occur at isolated places in Bikaner and Jodhpur divisions.

The maximum temperature dropped slightly in the state capital due to light rains through the course of the day.
