Light scattered rains in several parts of Delhi, Max temp 34.8

Light scattered rains occurred in several parts of the national capital which kept the mercury within comfortable levels even as high humidity caused discomfort to the residents.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 34.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average while the minimum temperature settled at 28.7 degrees, a notch above the normal, said a Met department official.
Traces of rainfall was recorded at Lodhi Road and Ridge weather stations.
Humidity oscillated between 85 and 63 per cent.
The Met Office has predicted overcast conditions along with the possibility of light rains and thundershowers for tomorrow.
"The skies will be partly cloudy. Light rain or thundershowers is likely to occur in some parts of the city tomorrow.
"The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover at 34 and 39 degrees respectively," the weatherman said.
Yesterday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.8 degree Celsius while maximum temperature settled at 36.7 degrees Celsius.
