Both were returning home after grazing their cattle when they were hit by lightning last evening, M Solanki, an official of District Disaster Management Centre in Amreli, told PTI by phone.
In a separate incident, two bullocks from Gajarwada village in the district were killed today after being hit by lightning, he said.
