Linseed oil eased in an otherwise muted Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following sluggish demand from paint and allied industries.
Groundnut oil, refined palmolein, castor seed bold and castor oil commercial ruled steady in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In the non-edibles segment, linseed oil slid by Rs 5 to Rs 935 per 10 kg from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 940.
Castor seeds bold and castor oil commercial ended unaltered at Rs 4,475 per 100 kg and Rs 925 per 10 kg, respectively.
Moving to the edibles section, groundnut oil and refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 870 and Rs 678 per 10 kg, respectively.
